Hometown Pride: Fall in the Glens Falls Area

This is the latest in my Hometown Pride series, where I share my photos taken in my hometown of Saratoga Springs, NY and the surrounding areas.  In this post, I'm taking you just north of Saratoga to the Glens Falls area, right on the Hudson River.  This past weekend I photographed some beautiful autumn colors in Granville, NY on my way to Nipper Knolls Equine Center, then my friend Barb and I enjoyed a socially distanced meetup at Crandall Park and Haviland Cove Park in Glens Falls and Feeder Canal Park just down the road in Queensbury.  The fall foliage was popping!

This beautiful scene can be seen in Granville, NY.

Another stunning Granville scene!

A beautiful road on my way to Nipper Knolls.

Yet another beautiful vista in Granville.

A farm in Granville framed by fall foliage.

The colors were unparalleled!

This one was one of my favorites.

Onto Haviland Cove, where the scenery did not disappoint.

In the background is a hydroelectric plant located in South Glens Falls.

A view through the trees across the Hudson River.

Next on my list is to check out the view from that pavilion across the river in South Glens Falls.

A selfie of me triggered with my phone.

A socially distanced selfie with Barb.

The Feeder Canal provided a beautiful reflection of the fall foliage.

The bridge at Feeder Canal Park in Queensbury.

Beautiful reflections at Feeder Canal Park.

Looking down the path back to Haviland Cove.

A couple heads down the path.

A view through the pine trees at Crandall Park.

I love the willow tree at Crandall Park.

Bridges always make good photographic subjects.

We met a cute corgi named Aloy!

What a sweetie!

I just love this shot of her with one paw in the air.

I just love those eyes!

Bonus selfie!
