As 2013 comes to a close, here's a look back at my most interesting photos on Flickr for this year:
This photo I took at Ferncliff Cemetery in Westchester County is my most popular photo of all time on Flickr. I really like the photo, but I was surprised that it became my most popular.
I took this photo out the back of a train on the Saratoga and North Creek Railroad. I actually had to shoot through glass since the back wasn't open, but luckily the glass was clean! Read more about that day on this previous post.
I took this photo of Yellowstone Lake at dusk on a cool, buggy evening this summer. I used my neutral density filter to make the water and the clouds smooth. Read more about my trip to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons on this previous post.
A simple shot of the Grand Tetons with the trees in front and the skies above.
Another shot from my Yellowstone/Tetons trip, taken at Oxbow Bend. This is one of my personal favorites. My mother liked it so much she has a large print of it in her office!
Yet another Grand Tetons photo. This was two different shots I layered together in Photoshop.
Here starts the Disney World photos. This was just a quick shot walking around the Magic Kingdom, but the clouds looked just right at that moment.
For this photo inside Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom, I really tested the limits of the 6D's ISO performance.
I took this HDR of Maurice's Cottage while I was waiting to get into Be Our Guest Restaurant.
The light was gorgeous as I took this photo on the way to EPCOT's World Showcase.
Happy New Year from Through the Glass!
